Ganked from nearly everyone, because all the cool kids are doing it.

The questions below are just suggestions. Ask me anything about my writing, including about my process (ha)! Alternatively, you can ask:

1) What I was thinking at the time I wrote a story, or a question about my writing as a whole. The question can be about anything, including my two lowly WIPs.

(WIPs are the very recent Of Christmases Past, Present and Future, which might be done or might not be and Tales from Gotham which is only just begun.)

2) Pick a character/pairing I've written and I will explain the top five ideas, concepts, etc. I try to keep in mind while writing that character/pairing.

3) Quote a few lines from something I've written and I'll comment on them.

4) Best place to find my works is here, you can ask me about any of them. Pick one, and I'll tell you three things I currently like about the story, or three things about it in general. This sticky on my home page lists everything but the three things I wrote for fandom_stocking which can be found on AO3.

1. I sort of ganked it from winterstar, at least the whole coma bit. She wrote this great story Upon Waking that I beta'ed. It was actually an unconscious (haha, no pun intended) steal that I didn't realize until I was editing the whole fic and then went, oh you know... But the aspect that really took off for me which makes it very different from winterstar's fic was Peter's response to Neal's injury, his guilt and fear that Neal would never be whole again.

2. The Christmas Carol bit came from knowing that you are supposed to talk to people in a coma. How would Peter/El do that? Well, it's a Christmas fic right, so a Christmas story, A Christmas Carol, which then grew into that defining moment when Peter realizes that Neal is going to recover.

3. Coma patients aren't supposed to remember anything from when they were in the coma, which originally sort of vexed me, until I realized it didn't matter if Neal remembers anything later, I still wanted to communicate what the experience was for him somehow, which is how I came up with the sort of dream-like, Christmas related images and feelings he relates from his POV.

I'm not sure there's much left to say in this verse, but who knows.
