This was heartbreaking and such a brilliant, seamless re-weaving of the Cape Verde canon. Quite honestly it is much better than canon in no small part because we get to explore more of the Neal and Adler dynamic without tacking on the cardboard heavies the show gave us. Your version was much more organic, therefore much more emotionally satisfying. And, oh, the Peter and El comfort...sigh.
